My experience of buying a new car after riding an old scooter for years

I remember the time when I joined my new office 5 years ago. That time, I had no conveyance. So, my dad gave me his old scooter for the commute. I used to travel 15 km daily while listening to music on my best Bluetoothspeakers under 2000. While most of my friends had the latest bikes to travel to work, riding an old scooter was a little embarrassing for me.


Even some of my friends used to make fun of my old ride. But I didn’t have enough money to buy a new bike, as I recently joined the office. My dad alone had to manage the expense of 8 people in our family. And after retirement, the whole responsibility came on my shoulders. But after a few years when I got a promotion, I decided to buy a new car through a bank loan. I wanted this card for my dad, as he only traveled on his scooter all his life. After handing it over to me, he had to use a rickshaw for traveling. 


I wanted to give my dad a surprise. So, I called him one day to meet me at the temple. When he was ready and stepped out of home looking for a rickshaw, I brought the car in front of him. When I told him that I purchased it for him, he was super thrilled like a 4-year-old. I still cannot forget that happy face of my dad after seeing our first car.
